Course Overview
Our interactive online Demerit Reduction Defensive Driver course can help your drivers understand the causes and consequences of unsafe driving habits. This course is certified by Alberta Transportation and covers how unsafe driving habits relate to traffic safety and how to develop safe proactive driving strategies.
Participants will receive a certificate if they score at least 80% on their exam. Alberta licence holders can visit any Alberta registry office to get a 3-demerit reduction. The government certificate will be mailed within 3-7 business days after successfully completing the course. Drivers have 60 days to complete the course from time of registration. If they don’t complete it within that time, they’ll need to enroll and purchase the course again.

How do drivers remove demerit points from their driving record?
- Register for the Demerit Reduction Defensive Driving Course
- Complete all modules and score 80% or higher on your course exam
- Take your certificate into an Alberta Registry office to have the demerits removed

Course Overview
Aggressive driving and road rage cause more fatalities than driver fatigue and drug-impaired driving combined! With aggressive driving collisions on the rise, it’s crucial for your employees to know how to respond safely to aggressive drivers to stay safe on the roads. This online course is designed to help fleet drivers identify what aggressive driving and road rage are, understand how they’re dangerous and why drivers choose to react aggressively, recognize the triggers that can lead to aggressive driving and the strategies they can use to minimize risk while they’re on the road.
What Your Drivers Will Learn
After they’ve completed course, your fleet members will be able to:
